Join the International Year of Quantum in the UK City of Culture: Bradford Quantum Hackathon 2025

On 21st November 2025, the global quantum computing community will come to Bradford for the Grand Finals of the Bradford Quantum Hackathon. With webinars and virtual collaboration starting on 27th October, we seek diverse teams of experts and non-experts alike to work together on quantum solutions to real-world problems that affect everyday lives.

Hosted by the University of Bradford, Quantinuum and Aqora, to celebrate a century of quantum theory and the city of Bradford, UK City of Culture 2025.

About Bradford Quantum Hackathon

Bradford, the vibrant British city shaped by its role in the 18th Century Industrial Revolution, is now gearing up to shape the 21st Century and the quantum revolution. As the UK City of Culture 2025, Bradford is hosting performances, exhibitions and activities honouring its extraordinary history. The University of Bradford and quantum computing leader Quantinuum are adding science and technology to the mix, in recognition of the UN International Year of Quantum Science and Technology to mark 100 years of quantum mechanics.

What better way to celebrate a city and a technology that are so young, dynamic and diverse than with the Bradford Quantum Hackathon?
