On 21st November 2025, the global quantum computing community will come to Bradford for the Grand Finals of the Bradford Quantum Hackathon. With webinars and virtual collaboration starting on 27th October, we seek diverse teams of experts and non-experts alike to work together on quantum solutions to real-world problems that affect everyday lives.

About Bradford Quantum Hackathon

Bradford, the vibrant British city shaped by its role in the 18th Century Industrial Revolution, is now gearing up to shape the 21st Century and the quantum revolution. As the UK City of Culture 2025, Bradford is hosting performances, exhibitions and activities honouring its extraordinary history. The University of Bradford and quantum computing leader Quantinuum are adding science and technology to the mix, in recognition of the UN International Year of Quantum Science and Technology to mark 100 years of quantum mechanics.

What better way to celebrate a city and a technology that are so young, dynamic and diverse than with the Bradford Quantum Hackathon? Teams of innovators – from students and academic researchers to professionals and tech enthusiasts – will set their sights on solutions to some of our most urgent challenges.
